# Pricing

Software access, included workflows and separate Fal.ai usage costs.

Choose software access separately from AI usage. Prices below are USD list prices checked against the [website packages](https://www.chatvideopro.com/products/) on October 18, 2026; checkout shows current offers, taxes and terms.

**Creator Bundle** includes the core Chat Video Pro panel and Audio Expansion. **Creator Pass** unlocks the panel and panel expansions for the duration of an active subscription; access ends when the subscription ends. It is a monthly alternative to a lifetime software purchase, not an extra mandatory fee on top of one.

Existing Base or Teams owners can buy **Audio Expansion for $69.99 one-time**. It is not standalone and is already included with Creator Bundle and an active Creator Pass. See [Audio Expansion](https://www.chatvideopro.com/audio-expansion/) for current offers.

The downloadable **Expansion Kit** (folder template, export presets and LUT assets) is a separate purchase on every plan. It is not the same product as the panel's Audio Expansion.

## AI usage is separate

Cloud chat, media generation, cloud transcription and optional AI enhancement use **your own Fal.ai account** and are billed by Fal.ai in addition to the software price. Fal.ai routes chat through OpenRouter to the selected model provider. You do not need separate OpenAI or Gemini keys for the current extension.

Costs depend on the selected model, input/output length, resolution and number of attempts. The panel's estimate or model information can help you plan; the [Fal.ai usage dashboard](https://fal.ai/dashboard/usage-billing) is the billing source of truth. Check [Fal.ai's current pricing](https://fal.ai/pricing) and account terms for rates, balances and expiry rules. This guide does not promise a fixed monthly spend, unlimited use or credits that never expire.

## What caption work costs

[Captions Engine](/features/studio/captions-engine.md) is included in every CVP plan. Importing a Premiere transcript, applying/customizing caption styles, saving presets and rendering styled captions locally do **not** consume AI credits or add a CVP per-minute styling charge.

Creating a transcript with a cloud engine can incur Fal.ai usage. Optional AI enhancement and assistant/chat requests can also incur usage. Local Whisper transcription is available on Windows and keeps audio on your machine for that step; later cloud requests still send the needed context to Fal.ai. Check the chosen engine and workflow before processing.

## Audio access and output rights

Audio Expansion covers Voiceover Lab, SFX Studio with Foley, Music Composer and Stem Separation. Voiceover takes go to Chat and Library for you to drag and trim in the edit; supported SFX, music and stem workflows have timeline placement options. Software access does not include generation usage.

Generated output is subject to the selected model/provider's terms and your rights to the input media, voices and references. A software purchase does not guarantee ownership, commercial clearance or permission for every use.

## Cancellation and refunds

* Lifetime software licenses have a **7-day money-back guarantee** under the current [refund policy](https://www.chatvideopro.com/terms/).
* Creator Pass can be cancelled; access continues only for its active subscription period. **Subscription payments are not refundable** under the current offer, and there is no free trial.
* Provider usage and separately purchased digital assets have their own terms. A CVP refund does not reverse Fal.ai usage already consumed.
